Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Site Agent to lead on-site delivery on the Agratas project. You will ensure safety, programme, cost control and quality across civil infrastructure works.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate subcontractors and drive planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement to successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and multidisciplinary team management.
• Excellent planning, organisation and problem solving.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets and programme delivery.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure safe delivery.
• Ensure works are on programme and within budget.
• Maintain high quality standards on site.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate subcontractors.

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Site Agent to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of works on the Agratas project.

This role will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while supporting one of the UK's most significant infrastructure developments.

About you

• Previous experience working as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer on infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets and programme delivery.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• HNC/HND or Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of the requirements of CDM regulations
• Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets,
• Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
• Experience in civil engineering
