Job summary

TipTopJob collaborates with a civils/highways contractor in Yorkshire to hire a Site Agent who will lead project delivery on site, ensuring schemes are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will oversee site teams, subcontractors and resources, coordinating planning, reporting and client communications while upholding safety and company procedures. A strong highways background and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Site Manager within civils/infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in highways or local authority works.
• Ability to deliver projects autonomously at Site Agent level.
• AP (Appointed Person: Lifting Operations) and TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) accreditation.
• SMSTS and CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for day-to-day site operations and project delivery.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures.
• Oversee planning, programming and progress reporting.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure all documentation, permits, and RAMS are in place and adhered to.
• Drive quality and efficiency across all stages of delivery.

Location: Yorkshire Region

Salary: Up to GBP65,000 dependent on experience

Additional: Car allowance / Company vehicle

Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of secured work across multiple frameworks, they are looking for driven and experienced Site Agents to join their growing team in the Yorkshire region.

This is a long:term opportunity to be part of a privately owned, people:focused business delivering a wide range of civil engineering and local highways projects.

The Role

As a Site Agent, you will take full ownership of project delivery on site, leading teams to safely deliver schemes on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Typical Projects Include (but Are Not Limited To)

• Local highways improvements
• Junction upgrades
• Cycleway schemes
• Public realm works

You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered autonomously, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
