Job summary

Caval Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Agent - Civils to join a 64-week bearing replacement scheme in Stowmarket. The role demands strong civils background, highways and bridge experience, and the ability to lead day-to-day site operations while coordinating subcontractors to programme.

You will oversee safety, quality and environmental compliance, manage site records and reporting, and liaise with project managers and engineers to ensure works are delivered on time and to specification.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering.
• Strong highways and/or bridge project experience.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Bearing replacement/ bridge repairs experience is advantageous.
• PTS certification ideally required.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and quality requirements.
• Ability to work to programme and specification.
• Relevant civil engineering qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations.

• Ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Monitoring progress against programme.

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent - Civils to join a 64-week Bearing Replacement Scheme in Stowmarket. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent with a strong civils background, particularly those with highways and bridge experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
