Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting for a Site Agent to work on a high profile rail scheme in Manchester. You will report to the Senior Project Manager and coordinate day-to-day site activities, documentation and supply chain partners to ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with programme requirements.

The role requires previous experience in site delivery in rail/construction, managing subcontractors, and maintaining site records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Site Agent, Site Manager, Sub-Agent, or similar construction delivery role.
• Rail experience is welcome but is not essential for the right candidate.
• SSSTS/SMSTS and PTS Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work activities.
• Ability to maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors.
• Oversee project documentation and site records, ensuring compliance with project and client requirements.
• Manage permits, site paperwork, inspection records, and quality documentation.
• Monitor supply chain performance and coordinate subcontractor activities.
• Support programme delivery, identifying and escalating risks and delays where required.
• Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with approved methodologies.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager.
• Liaise with client representatives, stakeholders, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
• Support commercial and procurement activities as required.

Are you an experienced Site Agent with rail experience looking for your next contract with an established Tier 1 Contractor?

Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a Site Agents to work on a high profile rail scheme in Manchester.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working on multi-discipline rail projects and station upgrades.

Role Brief: Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities, administration, documentation, and supply chain partners to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.
