Job Description:

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
• Experience in acute nursing care.
• Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies.
• Up-to-date knowledge in the area of practice.
• Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
• Recruitment and selection skills.
• Experience working in an acute healthcare sector in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent.

Duties of this role include:

• Managing the Hospital Ward and its staff daily, providing clinical leadership, managing ward resources effectively, and driving clinical excellence.
• Maintaining and enhancing customer service and satisfaction for service users.
• Leading and supporting the nursing team to meet all aspects of the clinical governance agenda.
• Conducting oneself professionally within the standards of the NMC Code of professional Conduct.
