Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex work that supports the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 days on, 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts alternating between early shifts (6am-6pm) and late shifts (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and station communication systems
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for tasks and updates

Candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
