SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (London, United Kingdom, On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will conduct planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, from our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
