Job summary

Smith+ Nephew is seeking a strategic SIOP Lead to partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Finance and Operations. You will lead a small team, drive end-to-end SIOP processes, and ensure execution aligns with strategic priorities in a global manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with experience in demand planning and a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business.
• Proven experience in SIOP/S&OP, demand planning, and/or PLM in a global organization.
• Prior line management experience leading small teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at senior leadership level across matrix organisations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to support business decisions and recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Confidence making decisions and managing through evolving priorities.
• Medical device/regulated industry experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team, supporting them through change and transformation.
• Drive the SIOP process across the AWM business, aligning priorities and actions across Commercial, Finance and Operations.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to facilitate decision making and keep key initiatives on track.
• Prepare and present business insights, recommendations and executive-level materials for leadership discussions.
• Consolidate information from multiple functions to identify risks, opportunities and improvement actions.
• Create visibility and accountability across the organisation, ensuring agreed actions are delivered.
• Support business planning activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance.
• Oversee demand planning activities with a broad focus on alignment and execution.
