The Software Engineering and Systems Integration team in the UK is actively working across Boeing Defence, Commercial Airplanes, Global services and Uncrewed technologies. The Software Engineering team works in the development of Synthetic Environment Sub-systems, Mission Systems Capability, Autonomous Behaviours, enhancement of Ground Control Systems, Technical Publications and various in-house proprietary tools for the Defence platforms. The team is also contributing to Commercial Modification of aircrafts, development of Onboard Network Systems, Cabin Interiors and supporting Supplemental Type Certification effort.
You’ll support Defence and Security domains at Boeing locations and Customer sites across the UK, including Autonomous Systems, Training and Simulation, Cyber, Space, Intelligence and Security.
You will join a rapidly growing Engineering Capability with a culture for development, collaboration and success. Initially you will be assigned to our Simulation Programmes, which operate across the Air, Land and Maritime domains, with future opportunity to develop your interests across the breadth of the Software Engineering portfolio.

The primary locations for our Engineering teams is Fleet, with the general expectation of minimum 3 days a week in the office to foster collaboration and team efficiency. We will also consider applicants who may prefer to be based out of our Bristol offices, and potentially others dependent on the suitability of the candidate.
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must be a UK citizen and have current legal authorization to work in the UK. Boeing will not attempt to obtain immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants. Relocation is not available for this position. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
