Job summary

Cirrus Selection Limited in Stevenage is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join a fast‑moving environment where simulation and defence‑tech testing sit at the heart of development. You will plan, run and analyse testing activities, investigate issues, and collaborate with engineers, partners and end users to ensure systems perform when it counts.

The role offers salary from £42,000 to £50,000 plus bonus, overtime, pension and flexi‑leave, with security clearance and citizenship requirements

Qualifications

Experience in software or systems testing, ideally within complex environments.
Python scripting for analysis, automation, or tooling.
Understanding of verification & validation, systems proving, or similar.
Exposure to Agile, CI/CD, or modern development environments.

Responsibilities

Plan, run and analyse software testing activities.
Investigate issues and collaborate with engineers, partners and end users to ensure systems perform when it counts.
Work across the full lifecycle with hands‑on testing and integration.
