Job summary

Widener University’s Center for Simulation is seeking a part-time Simulation Lab Assistant to support the Dwyer School of Nursing. The role ensures labs, equipment, and materials are organized and ready for instructional use.

Responsibilities include preparing labs, managing supplies, and assisting with tours and large campus simulations. The position is adjunct and reporting to the Director of the Center for Simulation.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple labs and schedules.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with staff and vendors.
• High school diploma required; additional education preferred is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simulation labs for scheduled learning activities.
• Monitor inventory and report needs for budget purposes.
• Order supplies for lab and simulation sessions.
• Establish relationships with vendors to ensure adequate supplies.
• Assist with tours and lab setup/breakdown for large simulations.
