University of Cumbria's Lancaster campus invites applications for a role in the Academic Technical Services team, supporting the Faculty of Health with simulation-based education and clinical skills sessions at Lancaster. Note: this opportunity is only available to current employees of the University.

The successful candidate will help maintain safe, organised lab environments and provide support to technical and academic colleagues, including daily setup of practical elements and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Daily support and setup of practical elements of programme delivery with clinical simulation equipment
• Demonstrate teamwork with the Faculty technical team to manage clinical spaces
• Ensure COSHH health and safety compliance for equipment and hazardous substances

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join the Academic Technical Services team, supporting Faculty of Health colleagues with delivery of simulation based education and clinical skills sessions at the University of Cumbria's Lancaster campus.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safe, organised and effective lab environments while providing support to other technical and academic colleagues.

Main responsibilities would include:

• Daily support and set up of the practical elements of programme delivery, involving a range of clinical simulation equipment;
• Demonstrating good teamwork and collaboration with other members of the Faculty technical team, to ensure effective management of any clinical spaces;
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements of equipment and substances hazardous to health (COSHH).
