Job summary

Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust seeks an enthusiastic Simulation Educator to drive high-quality simulation-based education as part of the Hospital Transformation Programme. You will design, deliver and evaluate immersive and insitu simulations to support staff across acute sites in new environments, equipment and care models.

You will apply human factors, systems thinking and data analysis to inform readiness and evidence-based improvements, contributing to patient safety and service

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with experience in simulation and debriefing.
• Design, deliver and evaluate a wide range of simulation activities.
• Strong understanding of human factors and systems thinking.
• Ability to analyse data and produce evidence-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality simulation-based education.
• Prepare staff across two acute hospital sites for new environments, workflows, equipment and models of care.
• Ensure simulation activity aligns with ASPiH standards and human factors.
• Provide recommendations to support organisational readiness and safe service redesign.
