We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Simulation Educator to play a key role in our ambitious Hospital Transformation Programme. This exciting opportunity will support staff across our acute hospital sites to prepare for new clinical environments, pathways, equipment, and models of care through high-quality simulation-based education.

As a registered healthcare professional with experience in simulation and debriefing, you will design, deliver, and evaluate a wide range of simulation activities, including immersive, insitu, and process testing simulations. Work closely with clinical, operational, and transformation teams, identify risks, test new systems to support safe service redesign and implementation.

You will have a strong understanding of human factors, systems thinking, and simulation methodologies, with the ability to analyse data, produce meaningful reports, and provide evidence-based recommendations to support organisational readiness. You will be passionate about creating psychologically safe learning environments and enabling teams to build confidence and competence during a period of significant change.

Working across two acute hospital sites, the post holder will use simulation to prepare clinical and non‑clinical teams for new environments, workflows, equipment, and models of care. The role ensures simulation activity aligns with ASPiH standards, incorporates human factors principles, and supports safe, effective transition to redesigned services.
