Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team in Enstone is offering a 1-year Simulation Development Student Placement starting July 2027. You will join a team that builds and maintains simulation infrastructure used by engineering across the company.

During the placement, you will develop, test and deploy simulation software, collaborating with simulation engineers, software developers and performance analysts to ensure accuracy and usability.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year.
• Strong programming skills.
• Good understanding of simulation techniques and numerical methods is a must have. Knowledge of vehicle dynamics is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role.
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September.

The Role
