MBDA is seeking a Simulation and Modelling Engineer to develop high-fidelity models using MATLAB and Simulink and to work with systems teams to ensure simulations reflect real-world scenarios. You will tune models with live data and grow under mentorship toward more complex projects.
The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, ongoing learning, and contributing to product development lifecycles in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
At MBDA, we design and develop missiles and missiles systems that protect lives and secure airspaces around the world. However, long before these missiles are fired, they are flown thousands of times in our synthetic environments to ensure they will operate without issue.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
As a Simulation and Modelling Engineer, you will be a key part of MBDA's development process, helping to develop the models that are critical to ensuring our products perform perfectly from their initial development to field deployment. We work closely with other teams and partners to integrate their models into ours, and running them through numerous test suites to ensure they are suitable for use in further development.
