Job summary

Lancashire County Council is recruiting a Schools Applications Officer to support school staff using SIMS and related products. You will lead specialist areas in SIMS, work across Power BI and Excel, and deliver consultancy sessions in schools with presentations to staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to form relationships with school staff, face-to-face and digitally.
• Experience in supporting school staff using SIMS or as an end-user with substantial experience, and aptitude for training and consultancy.
• Lead specialist in at least one area of SIMS and able to expand expertise.

Responsibilities

• Desk-based management of support calls and updating the Service Now incident system.
• Produce support documentation for the Digital Hub and develop training sessions.
• Input into development of new service options.
• Provide consultancy sessions in schools and deliver presentations in specialist areas.
