Ganymede is seeking a PLC Software Contractor to deliver hands-on PLC software for a high-profile automation project in the defence and regulated industrial sector. You will work from specification through to implementation, validation and commissioning on complex control systems.

Experience with Siemens TIA Portal is essential, along with a track record in regulated environments and security-cleared work in the UK. This office-based role offers a challenging, high-integrity project.

Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal in defence or regulated industrial environments.
• Ability to take designs from specification through to implementation and validation.
• Strong estimating and validation skills within defined standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate PLC software using Siemens TIA Portal from function blocks to structured text.
• Integrate digital communications and platform management systems as part of the project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with sector standards and contribute to effort estimation.
