Qualifications

• Proven Software Controls/Automation engineering experience.
• Strong PLC, HMI and SCADA programming background.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal is essential.
• Willingness to travel UK and internationally.
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement PLC, HMI and SCADA systems from concept to completion.
• Develop controls software using Siemens TIA Portal; Rockwell/Mitsubishi experience desirable.
• Interpret project requirements and contribute to control philosophies and software solutions.
• Produce technical documentation including FDS, software docs and O&M manuals.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, process and project teams to ensure delivery.
• Support software testing, debugging and fault-finding across the project lifecycle.
• Assist FAT, SAT and on-site commissioning activities.
• Provide on-site installation support, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Offer remote and on-site technical assistance for field issues.
• Manage priorities across multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Ensure controls meet safety, quality and compliance requirements.
• Promote software standards and libraries across projects.
• Liaise with customers and site teams during testing and handover.
• Travel across UK, Europe and worldwide as required.
