Job summary

SIA SECURITY OFFICERS at Heathrow Airport Terminals 2 & 5 are recruiting for permanent roles with day, night and weekend shifts. A £3,000 joining bonus is paid in December, with weekly pay and flexible shift options.

45–60 hours per week are guaranteed, providing consistent security coverage across terminals. Expect duties including patrolling, CCTV monitoring, access control, incident response, and routine reporting.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice threats or suspicious behaviour.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication for reporting.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
• De-escalation of tense situations and finding peaceful solutions.
• Familiarity with security equipment and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing buildings, perimeters, and access points.
• Monitoring CCTV and other security systems to detect threats.
• Controlling access by checking IDs and logging entries/exits.
• Responding to incidents, investigating alarms and emergencies.
• Enforcing security regulations and resolving disturbances.
• Reporting and documenting incidents and irregularities.

SECURITY OFFICERST TO START IN THE NEXT WEEK AT HEATHROW AIRPORT TERMINALS 2 & 5.

Permanent work offered.

Day , night and weekend shifts available

£3000 joining bonus paid in December

You can choose to work days or just nights + weekends

Day shifts 8 am till 6 pm or 8 am till 8 pm paying £20.50 hour

Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £24.50 hour

Weekends and overtime paid at £28.50 hour

We pay weekly every Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
• Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
