Job summary

SIA Security Officers is seeking full-time security officers to protect Birmingham Airport facilities. Multiple day, night and weekend shifts are available with options to work days or Nights + weekends. Earn £19.50 per hour day shifts, £22.50 at night, and £25.50 for weekends with 45–60 hours per week guaranteed.

Permanent roles with weekly pay and generous bonuses are offered. Candidates should be reliable, vigilant and maintain a professional demeanor while protecting people and property

Qualifications

• Observational ability to spot threats and unusual activity.

• Ability to assess situations and make quick, sound decisions.
• De-escalation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Familiarity with security equipment, cameras, and basic IT apps.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings, perimeters and access points to ensure security.
• Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems for threats or incidents.
• Check IDs, log entries, and regulate access to restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies with appropriate actions.
• Enforce security policies and resolve disturbances as they arise.
• Maintain logs and incident reports; communicate irregularities to the team.

We are looking for a number of full time security officers to start work at Birmingham Airport this month and next month .
LOTS OF BONUSES and PERMANENT ROLES

Permanent work offered.

Day , night and weekend shifts available

You can choose to work days or just nights + weekends

Day shifts 8 am till 6 pm or 8 am till 8 pm paying £19.50 hour

Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £22.50 hour

Weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 hour

We pay weekly every Friday.

45-60 hours per week guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
• Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
