Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Supervisor in Telford to oversee the security function for a client site. You will manage day-to-day team activities and ensure high professionalism and security presence on site.

You will work 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, covering days and nights (07:00–19:00, 19:00–07:00). The role requires strong communication and leadership, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable.
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Able to pass BS7858 vetting and SC/DV clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security team operations and ensure daily tasks are completed.
• Monitor surveillance and alarm systems and respond to breaches promptly.
• Lead, manage and develop direct reports including coaching and appraisals.
• Submit reports and performance documentation to relevant departments.
• Monitor on-site staff and contractors and document method statements and risks.
• Liaise with police, emergency services and stakeholders during emergencies.
• Inspect security equipment regularly and ensure proper function.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports with improvement recommendations.
• Ensure clear communication across departments and integrate security measures.
• Achieve Corps Security KPIs and investigate any non-conformances.
• Stay updated with security trends and recommend improvements.
