Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to log incidents, communicate key issues to the Operations Manager, and uphold site access and visitor controls. The role requires reporting accuracy and strong collaboration with management.

You will ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintain PPE usage, and support the security team in delivering reliable service daily.

Qualifications

Excellent analytical skills to evaluate information and prioritise activity.
Valid SIA licence and Door Supervisor credentials.
Strong written and oral communication abilities for reports and presentations.
Good understanding of health and safety requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

Log and direct all incidents through to completion.
Communicate business issues to the Operations Manager and/or relevant departments.
Maintain site access control, egress, and visitor regulation.
Complete timely and accurate reports on security activities and present to Security Management.
Follow group policies and procedures and raise corrective actions when needed.
Handle day-to-day enquiries related to site security and operations.
Identify deficiencies in systems or equipment and report to management.
Ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled and escalate concerns.
Share knowledge and support team members to maximise capabilities.
