Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an on-site security professional to protect property, people and assets by adhering to Assignment Instructions (AI's) and maintaining compliance with UK law and client requirements.

The role requires prior security experience and valid SIA licences. You will be responsible for reporting hazards, conducting thorough incident records, renewing licences in time, and ensuring service levels are met to retain the contract.

Qualifications

• Previous Security Experience required.
• SIA Licence required; front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision; CCTV PSS SIA Licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies and UK law as directed.
• Complete tasks on site as defined in Assignment Instructions.
• Renew licences 16 weeks before expiry; maintain professional conduct.
• Report health & safety hazards; log incidents; contact emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate incident notebooks and ensure check calls are carried out as scheduled.
