Job summary

Corps Security in Hinckley, England, is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will manage access control, conduct site inductions, and perform planned and ad-hoc patrols in line with Assignment Instructions, escalating as required during emergencies.

You will work 42 hours per week, on a 4-on, 4-off night shift (18:00–06:00). The role requires excellent communication, a valid SIA Front-Line License, a full UK driving

Qualifications

• SIA Front-Line License is essential.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Excellent communication and customer-service focus mandatory.
• Good IT skills including basic Excel.
• Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance and patrol the site as required by instructions.
• Control access for staff and visitors; brief and sign in/out.
• Record deliveries and documents in line with procedures.
• Complete daily logs and handovers; report incidents promptly.
• Set and unset alarms for out-of-hours security when needed.
• Adhere to waste management and site safety procedures.
• Keep training records up to date, including first aid.
• Demonstrate professional SIA standards at all times.
