Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA licensed Security Officer to support multiple client premises with holiday and sickness cover, potentially fixed shifts when opportunities arise.

The role requires you to work various hours including days, nights and weekends, with shift times of 0500-1700 or 1700-0500. We value progression and internal development, with a view to permanent vacancies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• A valid UK Driving License - essential.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors are briefed and sign in/out properly.
• Record entry/exit of deliveries and process paperwork to site procedures.
• Ensure patrols are carried out to required standards.
• Set and unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security as applicable.
• Comply with site waste management procedures.
• Complete daily occurrence logs, shift handovers and incident records.
• Maintain training records and ensure first aid and fire marshal training is up to date.
• Adhere to Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments.
• Assist with ad hoc duties as directed.
