Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide holiday and sickness cover across client premises, with the potential for fixed shifts when opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA Front-Line License is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence with own transport or reliable access.
• Excellent communication and strong customer focus.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while working under pressure.
• Good IT skills including MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance of the site with regular patrols and record as required.
• Brief visitors and contractors; ensure sign-in/out per procedures.
• Record deliveries on site and process paperwork per procedures.
• Carry out patrols to specified standards.
• Set/unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security.
• Follow site waste management procedures.
• Complete daily logs, handovers, incidents, and site reports.
• Familiarize with instructions and risk assessments; advise on improvements.
• Maintain training records; keep first aid and fire marshal training up to date.
• Apply SIA skills professionally; display license at all times.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
