Job summary

Corps Security in Exeter is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer for holiday and sickness cover across client sites. You will be trained and potentially allocated fixed shifts as opportunities arise, working days, nights and weekends with a view to long-term placement.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer focus.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Full UK driving license or reliable transport.
• SIA Front-Line License required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site surveillance with patrols and logs.
• Brief visitors/contractors; sign in/out.
• Record deliveries and process related paperwork.
• Ensure patrols meet required standards.
• Set/unset alarms for out-of-hours security if needed.
• Follow waste management procedures.
• Complete daily logs, handovers, incidents, site reports.
• Follow Instructions and risk assessments; advise on changes.
• Keep training records up to date (first aid, fire marshal).
• Maintain professional SIA conduct; license on display.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
