Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide holiday and sickness cover across client premises, with a view to a fixed shift pattern when opportunities arise.

You will work across days, nights and weekends, with training and development encouraged and internal promotion opportunities. The role requires excellent communication and a valid SIA license, plus a full UK driving license and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front‑Line License - essential.
• A Full UK Driving License - essential.
• Able to build good working relationships at all levels.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site surveillance with regular patrols and document as required.
• Brief visitors and contractors; ensure sign-in/out procedures.
• Record deliveries on site and process related paperwork.
• Ensure patrols meet required standards and respond to alarms when needed.
• Carry out site procedures for waste management and safety.
• Complete daily logs, handovers, incidents, and site reports.
• Maintain up-to-date training records including first aid and fire marshal training.
