Job summary

Sodexo in Crawley is seeking a dedicated corporate security officer to join our team. This full-time role involves guarding facilities, monitoring access points, and ensuring safety protocols are followed to protect staff and visitors.

You must hold a valid SIA licence and a First Aid certificate, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Shifts are 12-hour, 4 on/4 off, 6am–6pm, offering a stable schedule and essential security duties.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence required.
• Experience as a corporate security officer or similar role.
• Good observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and effective in emergencies.
• Understanding of security practices and processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet staff and visitors and ensure security protocols are followed.
• Monitor car park and delivery control.
• Monitor premises to prevent rule infractions.
• Conduct regular patrols with a visible, reassuring presence.
• Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Complete detailed handovers and report incidents.
