Job summary

Savills Company is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to help run the site smoothly, provide visible security cover, monitor CCTV (licensed), assist with enquiries and safeguard tenants and the public.

You will work 12-hour day shifts on a 4 on/4 off roster, including weekends and nights, earning £13.45 per hour. Applicants must hold a valid SIA Security Licence and, where applicable, a Public Space Surveillance Licence; strong customer service and precise record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing security services and CCTV monitoring in busy areas.
• Must hold a valid SIA Security Licence and Public Space Surveillance Licence where required.
• Demonstrates strong customer service at all times.
• Able to work on own initiative and handle demanding situations.
• Honest, reliable, and able to actively participate in emergency training.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work weekends/nights on a 4 on/4 off roster.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security patrols and CCTV monitoring as required.
• Handle enquiries and assist with customer concerns on site.
• Provide visible security cover and ensure site safety and order.
• Record incidents in the DoB and escalate appropriately.
• Ensure contractors comply with site H&S and company policies.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for the public.
• Adhere to site rules and regulations at all times.
• Attend on-site training and stay updated on procedures.
