Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a security officer to welcome staff, visitors and contractors while maintaining a secure environment. The role involves monitoring CCTV and access control, responding to incidents, and patrolling the site.

Applicants must be 18+ with a valid SIA licence and DBS clearance, plus strong communication and awareness to interact professionally with staff and authorities. Working hours are 52 per week, 18:00–07:00 from Monday to Thursday, with benefits and training provided as part of

Qualifications

Must be 18+ and hold a valid SIA licence.
Full DBS clearance required.
Excellent communication and situational awareness; engage with staff and visitors.
52 hours per week, Mon–Thu 18:00–07:00.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist staff, visitors and contractors while ensuring security protocols.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for all building users.
Monitor CCTV, access control and other security systems to detect and prevent threats.
Act as the first line of response to security incidents, system activations and fault reports.
Handle calls, relay messages, and provide clear guidance to staff and visitors.
Conduct regular security patrols to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.
