Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a security officer to protect customer property and assets in line with published Assignment Instructions (AI's). The role requires compliance with UK law, regulatory requirements and site-specific procedures, with mandatory front-line SIA licences and CCTV qualification.

You will deliver results that meet KPIs, undertake training for self-development, and maintain professional conduct on site while supporting incident reporting and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in security services and guarding
• Front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision (SIA licence) required
• CCTV SIA Licence is required by the client

Responsibilities

• Deliver service that meets KPIs and SLAs to help retain the contract
• Complete required training for continuous self-development
• Comply with UK law, policies and AI instructions and site duties
• Renew licences 16 weeks before expiry and maintain licensing compliance
• Ensure safety hazards are reported and incidents are documented promptly
• Follow procedures, maintain professional conduct, and keep accurate incident notebooks
