TSS are seeking a Retail Security Officer in Harrogate. You will act as a visible deterrent, protect staff and visitors, and ensure compliance with fire and safety procedures. Duties include reporting incidents and following client instructions.

This role requires an SIA licence and is based on varied shifts with opportunities for progression. Ideal candidates will be 18+ with strong communication and a team-focused, customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• SIA licence is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to protect the client’s premises and staff.
• Follow Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure staff and visitors are safe.
• Deter troublemakers on site within the law.
• Observe and report incidents using designated reporting systems.
• Carry out duties as directed by the client or manager.
• Keep site knowledge up to date and monitor local developments.
