Job summary

Corps Security seeks a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer in Walsall to cover holidays and sickness across client premises. You will be trained and may be allocated a fixed shift pattern when opportunities arise, covering days, nights and weekends with flexibility.

The role supports internal promotions, values training, and offers extensive benefits while maintaining professional standards and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• A Full UK Manual Driving License - essential.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Able to pass EDBS and BS7858 vetting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site and carry out regular patrols.
• Ensure visitors and contractors are briefed, sign in/out.
• Record deliveries on site and process paperwork per procedures.
• Carry out patrols to required standards and respond to incidents.
• Set and unset alarm systems for out‑of‑hours security if applicable.
• Comply with site waste management procedures.
• Complete daily logs, handovers, and site reports.
• Maintain training records and keep first aid and fire marshal training up to date.
• Keep SIA licence displayed and perform ad hoc duties as directed.
