Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer in Merseyside to provide cover across client premises. You will patrol sites, manage visitor sign‑in/out, and handle deliveries with strict adherence to quality procedures.

You must hold a valid SIA Front‑Line License (essential) with CCTV license desirable, and be capable of working flexible days, nights and weekends. A driving license and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA Front‑Line License is essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License is desirable.
• A full UK driving license and own vehicle or reliable transport are required.
• Strong communication and customer‑facing skills are essential.
• Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance of the site with regular patrols and record as required.
• Brief visitors and contractors; sign‑in/out procedures.
• Process entry/exit of deliveries and complete associated paperwork.
• Ensure patrols are carried out to required standards.
• Set/unset alarm systems for out‑of‑hours security where applicable.
• Comply with waste management procedures and site policies.
• Complete daily logs, shift handovers and incident records.
• Stay up to date with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and safety documents; advise on improvements.
• Maintain training records and ensure first aid/fire marshal training is current.
• Display SIA licence at all times and perform duties with professionalism.
• Be prepared to cover shifts at multiple client premises across Merseyside; potential fixed shift allocations.
• Possess excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
