Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Relief Security Officer to cover sites in Inverclyde and surrounding areas. You will protect property, people and assets by implementing AI-based security protocols and reporting incidents with detailed notebooks.

The role requires front-line licences and adherence to UK law and safety standards. You will complete mandatory training, renew licences ahead of expiry, and contribute to service delivery that supports client relationships and contract

Qualifications

• Front-line security experience is essential.
• Must hold a Door Supervisor SIA licence and CCTV licence (PSS) as required.
• SC Clearance desirable, subject to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Protect customer property, people and assets by following Assignment Instructions (AI's) and site requirements.
• Complete all site duties as defined in published AI's and review changes to maintain service quality.
• Ensure compliance with UK law, health & safety, and industry regulations; renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
• Maintain accurate incident notebooks and participate in incident report processes.
• Support continuous self-development through mandatory training and assessments.
