Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer to cover shifts across Leeds, York, Bradford and surrounding areas. The role involves working at multiple client premises, holidays and sickness cover, with potential for fixed shifts when opportunities arise.

You will work flexible hours across days, nights and weekends. Corps Security supports development and internal promotions, with a pathway to permanent vacancies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• A UK Manual Driving License - essential.
• Confidence to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors on site are briefed, sign in and out.
• Record entry/exit and process paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
• Set and unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out of hours security provision if applicable.
• Complete daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records and site reports.
