Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer to cover holidays and sickness at client premises in Blackburn. The role includes patrols, visitor management, alarm systems, and document handling, with opportunities for fixed shifts when available.

We value training and internal promotion, and offer a broad range of employee benefits. The position requires a valid SIA Front-Line License (essential) and a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site and carry out regular patrols.
• Brief visitors and contractors; manage sign-in/sign-out.
• Process paperwork and logs in line with procedures.
• Set and unset alarms for out-of-hours security.
• Complete incident/accident records and site reports.
• Maintain training records and stay up to date with first aid and fire marshal training.
• Apply SIA skills professionally and keep licence visible.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.
