Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly motivated SIA Licensed Security Officer for holiday and sickness cover across client sites with a view to fixed shift patterns when opportunities arise. You will cover various hours per week, including day and night shifts from 07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00, ensuring site security and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable.
• Confidence to establish good working relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance of the site with regular patrols and records.
• Brief visitors and contractors, sign in/out.
• Record deliveries and process paperwork per procedures.
• Set and unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security if applicable.
• Comply with site waste management procedures.
• Complete daily logs, handovers and incident records.
• Consult with the Duty Manager and client on changes or improvements.
