Job summary

Securitas UK is looking for a Relief Security Officer to maintain safety and security for employees, visitors and assets at sites in Southampton and Portsmouth. The role requires a valid SIA licence, UK nationality, a driving licence, and 2+ years in security, with flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence.
• UK National eligibility to obtain SC security clearance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Minimum 2 years' Security Officer experience.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Control access to site and monitor security systems.
• Conduct regular security patrols.
• Manage keys, alarms, CCTV and site security equipment.
• Issue visitor and contractor passes.
• Complete security logs and incident reports.
• Support traffic and parking management where required.
• Promote a safe and secure environment and respond to emergencies.
