Securitas is recruiting a Relief Security Officer to cover a variety of sites within Berkshire and Surrey, offering a flexible shift pattern and 40 hour weeks. The role requires a valid SIA licence and the ability to travel to multiple locations from day one, with competitive pay (£14.56 per hour) and comprehensive learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have access to a reliable vehicle and travel independently to all locations.
• Hold a valid SIA Licence and full right to work in the UK.
• Possess a full, valid UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism and reliability.
• Commitment to upholding Securitas values: Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
• Excellent customer service and ability to build relationships.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Punctual, dependable and well organised.

• Experience in security, ideally as Security Officer or Relief Security Officer.
• Experience across multiple sites is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional security presence across multiple customer sites.
• Protect people, property and assets through patrols and checks.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, incidents and emergencies.
• Control access and ensure visitors and staff follow procedures.
• Report incidents and keep accurate records and documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service and be first point of contact.
• Support health and safety procedures and company policies.
