Job summary

Real World Services Limited is seeking a Security Officer for Mobile & Gatehouse Duties on a site in Wareham. You will perform patrols, gatehouse access control, and CCTV monitoring to protect client assets, reporting to the Head of Security Operations.

This PAYE role offers 12-hour night shifts (18:30–06:30), a starting rate of £13.25 per hour after probation, enhanced rates on Bank Holidays, 28 days’ holiday, a Company Pension Scheme, uniform and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA license is mandatory.
• Security experience is advantageous but not required.
• Basic proficiency in mobile handheld technology is preferred.
• A strong commitment to maintaining security and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot and mobile security patrols using fully liveried company vehicles.
• Monitor and report any security breaches or suspicious activities.
• Access control to the site.
• General Gatehouse duties and CCTV monitoring.
• First Aid point of contact.
• Muster control for onsite personnel.
• Dealing with multiple agencies.
• Utilise basic mobile handheld technology effectively.
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to uniform guidelines.
