Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Shuttering Joiner to work on a construction project at Heaps Mill, Liverpool. The role is a 6-week contract with an immediate start for the right candidate.

You will read and interpret drawings, install shuttering and formwork systems, and maintain site safety while working with a busy site team.

A valid CSCS card and own tools are required; weekly pay and potential for further work on a prestigious Liverpool development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install shuttering and formwork systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
• Measure, cut, and assemble timber and proprietary formwork systems.
• Ensure formwork is installed accurately to specification.
• Dismantle and remove shuttering once concrete has cured.
• Work closely with site management and other trades.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working area.
• Adhere to all site health and safety regulations.

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Joiner to work on a construction project at Heaps Mill, Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to join a busy site team on an initial 6-week contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and install shuttering and formwork systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
• Measure, cut, and assemble timber and proprietary formwork systems.
• Ensure formwork is installed accurately to specification.
• Dismantle and remove shuttering once concrete has cured.
• Work closely with site management and other trades.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working area.
• Adhere to all site health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Essential

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable

• Experience working on commercial or large-scale construction projects.
• Additional site certifications such as IPAF, CPCS, or SMSTS/SSSTS (where applicable).
