Job summary

Reliable Contractors Limited is seeking a skilled Shuttering Carpenter for EGL2 Project in Peterhead. The role involves building and installing shuttering formwork for reinforced concrete frames, reading drawings, and ensuring precision for concrete pours. CSCS card and NVQ/City & Guilds in joinery/carpentry are expected, with PTS/Sentinel required.

Qualifications

• CSCS skilled worker card achieved or working towards NVQ/City & Guilds identifying joinery/carpentry as a primary competence.
• NVQ/City & Guilds joinery/carpentry relevant to shutters and carpentry tasks.
• PTS (Sentinel Card) required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Formwork and carpentry for shuttering in all areas of construction.
• Ensure accuracy of formwork for concrete pours to match drawings.
• Work from drawings to erect and assemble formwork as required.

Location: Peterhead, AB42 3AJ

PAYE basis

Pay rate

• Rate of £21.02 per hour

Overtime

• Monday - Friday = Time and a Third
• Saturday - Sunday = Time and a Half

Candidates must have

• Skilled tradesperson with suitable experience of formwork / carpentry
• Experience in all aspects of shuttering including: reinforced concrete frames etc
• Ability to ensure the accuracy of the ' formwork made for the concrete pouring gangs to cast the concrete in
• Ability to make and erect formwork
• Ability to work from drawings
• CSCS skilled worker card having achieved or working towards an NVQ/City and Guilds identifying joinery/ carpentry as a primary competence
• Must have PTS (Sentinel Card)
• Driving license
