Job summary

Stridden Limited is currently recruiting an experienced Shuttering Carpenter for an ongoing commercial construction project in Wolverhampton. The role requires proven shuttering/formwork carpentry skills and a Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card with immediate start availability.

The position offers 9–10 hour days with overtime opportunities. You will work on a commercial site, reading drawings, building formwork, and maintaining high safety and workmanship standards alongside the site team.

Stridden Limited are recruiting an experienced Shuttering Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter for an ongoing commercial construction project in Wolverhampton.

This position is specifically for an experienced shuttering carpenter. You must have previous formwork/shuttering experience and hold a minimum Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card.

There are 9-10 hours available per day, with plenty of additional overtime opportunities throughout the project.

Duties

• Shuttering and formwork carpentry
• Building and installing formwork for concrete structures
• Traditional timber shuttering
• Measuring, cutting and assembling formwork
• Working from construction drawings
• Striking and adapting formwork as required
• Working alongside the wider site team
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site safety

Requirements

• Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card or higher - essential
• Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter
• Commercial construction experience
• Confident working from drawings
• Own tools and PPE
• Recent, checkable references
• Reliable and able to start immediately

Pay & Hours

£26.00 per hour

9-10 hours per day with plenty of overtime available.

This is ongoing work, with consistent hours available for reliable and experienced shuttering carpenters.
