Job summary

XPO Logistics are recruiting a Part-time, CAT C/CE HGV Shunter Driver to join us on our Norwich customer site. You'll work as a Yard Shunter on site from 0600 to 1430, or 0700 to 1530, Monday to Friday.

In return, you’ll receive a salary of £30,371, plus discounts, pension, holiday pay and access to training. You must hold CAT CE or C entitlement, CPC and a Digital Tachograph card, and have no more than 6 points.

Qualifications

• Must hold CAT CE or C entitlement on licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• No more than 6 points with no DD or DR endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive an 18T rigid vehicle.
• Move demountable boxes and artics around the yard.
• Couple wagons and drag and artic vehicles.
• Occasional delivery to customers.
• Possible Saturday overtime during peak periods.
• May use customer computer system for loading planning.

You'll be working as a Yard Shunter on site from 0600 to 1430, or 0700 to 1530, Monday to Friday.

What you'll do on a typical day

• You’ll be driving an 18T rigid vehicle
• You will be moving demountable boxes and artic trailers around our customers yard
• Coupling up wagon and drag and artic vehicles
• There may be the occasional requirement to take a vehicle out and make a delivery
• During peak periods, Saturday overtime may be available
• There may be the occasional requirement to use customer computer system to assist with loading planning

What you need to succeed at XPO
