Rise Technical Recruitment seeks a Shunter Driver for a Preston-based role. The position offers a salary of £30,000–£33,000 plus days, overtime (1.5x), progression, training, benefits and death in service. Commutable from Bamber Bridge and surrounding areas, with a focus on orderly yard operations and on-site tasks.

Ideal candidates will hold a Class 1 licence and be seeking a long-term role with on-the-job training. Monday–Friday, 2pm–11pm shifts are expected.

This role would suit a Class 1 Driver / Yard Operative.

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
