Job summary

B&Q Newark is hiring a Showroom Advisor on a part-time contract. You’ll engage customers, understand needs, and guide them through design options and installation choices, both in-store and remotely. You’ll use design software to visualize ideas and help projects come to life.

You’ll be a strong communicator, build relationships with colleagues and installers, and work a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays to achieve sales targets while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Motivated by targets and able to convert designs into sales.
• Team player with flexibility for weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ask questions and recommend finance, products and installation options.
• Use software to produce inspirational designs for customer projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers virtually and face to face.
• Guide customers from ideas through to delivery.
