Job summary

B&Q 1261 Sutton In Ashfield is hiring a Showroom Advisor on a part-time basis (15 hours per week). You’ll engage customers, convert designs into sales and guide projects from concept to delivery, using design software to bring ideas to life.

You’ll work in a team, adapt to a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays, and benefit from bonuses and a competitive package in a diverse store environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Motivated by targets and able to convert designs into sales.
• Able to work in a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ask questions and explore possibilities to recommend finance, products and installation options.
• Use software to produce inspirational designs for customer projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers virtually and face to face.
• Guide customers from ideas through to delivery and reality.
